Sundays in Idaho

December 30, 2015 by Torre and Narah Meissner

One of our main goals of this home assignment (furlough) is to get reacquainted with our sending churches.  We were, however, able to speak in a couple other churches as well during our time in Idaho.

Our Idaho sending church is Paul Congregational in Paul, Idaho.  They have a Missions Fest weekend every year. This year we were able to take part in it! We shared specifics about our ministry at the Guest House as well as our testimonies for those who might not know us. A time of question and answer helped clarify anything we missed.

The same church had a fund raising dinner for us to help towards the cost of a van. They decorated the room in a Mexican theme and we enjoyed a taco bar. It was so much fun, not to mention tasty, and encouraging to us as a family to be cared for in this way.
