Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him and he shall direct thy paths.
Dear Friends, JANUARY 2010
Greetings from the Recalde family. Once again it is time to “catch you up” on what is happening and what we have been doing in the last couple of months.
First of all, we want to thank you very much for being our co-workers and Prayer-partners! Thank you for your sacrificial giving and Prayers! We thank God for the daily strength that he gives to us and for His faithfulness! We are enjoying the beautiful winter snow here in Iowa after the extreme summer weather that we had been experiencing in Paraguay. We are also enjoying time with our grown kids and two Grandbabies!
We are Praising God for an answer to Prayer: Samuel has received his green card (immigrant visa) in the mail already after arriving in the U.S.A.!
Please continue to Pray for the Church out at the Indian Colony. Satan is constantly at work and many of the Tribal People continue to struggle with alcoholism. Please Pray for the believers, as they learn to rely on God alone during our absence and for the Salvation of those who have not understood yet.
Please Pray for Loli, one of the young believers, as she teaches Sunday school to the children. Pray also for Justino, as he leads the Sunday Church services and Mamila, as she teaches the Tribal ladies Bible class each Saturday. We have confidence that they will do a good job of teaching their own People.
Please remember our kids in your Prayers also, that they would continually seek God’s will and have wisdom in decisions they make in their lives! Please Pray for Nathan and Kristina as they adjust to school in English during our time here in the U.S.A. We are praising God for another answer to Prayer that Kristina did well on the tests for going into her grade in the high school here.
Please Pray for us during our time of home assignment as we speak in churches and give a report of our work amongst the Tribal People of Paraguay and that through us many more will be challenged to go forth and teach The Gospel to those who have not heard.
Please continue to Pray for Tracy concerning the frequent headaches that she has been experiencing for the last few years which seem to be getting worse.
Thank you again for your help and Prayers! We are looking forward to seeing you soon and sharing with you the wonderful things that God is doing in Paraguay S.A.!
In Christ’s Service, Samuel, Tracy and Family
