During breaks when they were resting, Samuel and our then co-worker, Jerry Holmes would talk with Emilio about his need of a Savior and one day Emilio made a decision to accept Christ and was saved.<br \/>\nSamuel spent many hours discipling Emilio and teaching<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-thumbnail wp-image-81\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/samuel-recalde\/files\/2008\/12\/imagen-0101-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"Samuel and Emilio\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/> and encouraging him in gardening.<br \/>\nThen last year Emilio began drinking and beating his wife again. He stopped coming to church and was never home when we would try to visit him.<br \/>\nYesterday, 12\/28\/08 everyone was surprised to see Emilio come to church and then even more so when he went forward<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-82\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/samuel-recalde\/files\/2008\/12\/pc28161321-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"Emilio\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/tracy-recalde\/files\/2008\/12\/pc28161321-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/tracy-recalde\/files\/2008\/12\/pc28161321-768x1024.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/> and began to speak saying “I have sinned and I have done many bad things, but I am sorry and I want to come back!” Then to everyone\\’s amazement, Emilio began to cry tears of repentance before God<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-83\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/samuel-recalde\/files\/2008\/12\/emilio2-300x265.jpg\" alt=\"emilio2\" width=\"300\" height=\"265\" \/> and The Church!
