{"id":965,"date":"2012-06-29T10:38:10","date_gmt":"2012-06-29T14:38:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/samuel-recalde\/?p=965"},"modified":"2012-06-29T10:38:11","modified_gmt":"2012-06-29T14:38:11","slug":"recalde-update","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/tracy-recalde\/2012\/06\/29\/recalde-update\/","title":{"rendered":"Recalde Update"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">Dear Praying Friends<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">,<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">Soon after arriving back in Paraguay, we were <\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">informed by the United States Embassy that Samuel needs to have a special \u201cPermission to Travel\u201d (re-entry permit) document in order to remain outside of the U.S.A. for longer than six months or he risks losing his green card (permanent resident visa). The U.S. Embassy in Paraguay told us that there is nothing they can do, because we must be on U.S.A. soil to apply for it, after which Samuel will be called to the nearest immigrations office there in that State to be interviewed and fingerprinted before being issued the needed document for him to be able to work with New Tribes Mission for a full term in Paraguay without the risk of losing his green card (permanent resident visa).<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">After much prayer, we decided to make an emergency trip back to Florida in June with round trip tickets for four weeks and began praying for the documents process to go quickly in order to get it all done in that time frame. <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\"><strong>Needless to say, we are concerned about the timing and <\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\"><strong>expense of this trip! But we know that God is in control <\/strong><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">and so we decided to step forward in faith, trusting that this is His will for us right now and taking courage in knowing that the Lord Himself is going before us and is always with us.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">Many of you have been praying for us concerning this necessary quick trip back to the United States, God&#8217;s provision for expenses and that the U.S.A. Immigration Officers will issue the needed document quickly so that we can continue serving our Lord where he has placed in Paraguay. <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\"><strong>Thank you very much for Praying!<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"color: #000000\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">We traveled back to the U.S.A. on June 10<\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\"><sup><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">th<\/span><\/span><\/sup><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\"> and immediately applied for Samuel&#8217;s needed \u201cPermission to Travel\u201d (re-entry permit) document. We were informed that it would take approximately <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\"><strong>10 days <\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">for the receipt to arrive in the mail and then <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\"><strong>another 30 days<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\"> for him to receive his appointment for biometrics in the mail.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size: small\"><span style=\"color: #000000\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">Once again with heavy hearts we began to pray.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\"><strong>Again our awesome Heavenly Father has worked a miracle for us.<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\"> The receipt arrived in less than a week and the appointment notice for Samuel to appear at the nearest USCIS office for biometrics services arrived in the mail only 4 days later! <\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">Praise The Lord!!\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">Samuel\u2019s appointment to be fingerprinted is for July 2nd and then he returns to Paraguay on July 8th. Nathan and Tracy get to stay a bit longer with our daughters and Grandbabies and will return to Paraguay on August 2<sup>nd<\/sup>.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">Thank you very much for your help and prayers!\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">Following are some Praise &amp;
