Known as “Emanate”, this program is three semesters long with a great scope of classes covering Biblical roots, missional skills and church planting tactics. This will be a valuable time of stretching and growing in many different areas as we seek to become better prepared for reaching the unreached. There are 2,000+ language groups without any access to scripture in their own language and Jesus said to “Go and make disciples of every nation”; so we want to be a part of that in whatever way possible.

Prior to heading up there we have a crazy summer mapped out! Apartment move-out date is set for June 30th, so packing is about to get real! We’ve penciled in visits to California, Pennsylvania and Maine to spend some time re-connecting with our families and churches. We also have the joy of attending 4 wedding celebrations and being a part of 2 family reunions.

Somewhere in there we will be celebrating our second wedding anniversary (and Tyler’s 23rd birthday!). It’s unbelievable how fast these two years have flown and through it all God has been so faithful to us. It is a joy to live life with the one God has lovingly prepared for you when you trust Him to guide you through the highs and lows. We have so much more to learn!

Speaking of God’s faithfulness…

The Lord has been going before us, already raising up a group of people who have expressed their desire to support us as we start this journey. It has truly encouraged our hearts to see God opening those doors. Although it is definitely a time of scary unknowns with potential for worry, we know that God prepared this provision and gift of partners ahead of time which has blown us away and reminded us just how trustworthy He is!

Please be praying for us! This is a crazy time of change and transition but we know just as Joshua and the people of Israel knew: “The LORD is the one who goes ahead of you; He will be with you He will not fail you or forsake you.
