While a lot has happened over the last few months since returning, we have not had much \u2018forward\u2019 movement and find ourselves in the very familiar situation of waiting on God\u2019s direction. But, He has always given clarity at just the right time, every time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>   We made it back to our island mid-October and have settled in and picked up right where we left off. That is: still looking for an open opportunity to get into one of the language groups in this area to bring the Good News to people who don\u2019t know and understand it yet. However, the brick walls pop up, and potential open doors close in our faces. Although discouraging, we know that God still has a plan\u2014both for us as a team and also for the people here. At this point we are wondering if those plans are <em>intertwined <\/em>or <em>separate<\/em>. Does God have other people and methods in mind to reach these people? And does He want us to go somewhere else?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>   The answer isn\u2019t clear yet, but the prayers are flowing and the meetings with leadership are planned for next week to look to the Lord for clarity and direction. <strong>This could mean<\/strong>: (1) we move to another island entirely, (2) we try a completely different strategy that has unique risks, or (3) we settle into this town to see what God may want to do from here while the remote areas remain closed to us. <strong>Please pray for clear direction from God <\/strong>and unity as a team as we weigh how to proceed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-verse has-text-align-center\"><em>I know, LORD, that our lives are not our own.  <br>We are not able to plan our own course. <br>So correct me, LORD, but Everything went flawlessly with it. Also, thank you for praying for Allegra\u2019s post-natal recovery and Tyler\u2019s knee surgery, as well as his continued recovery from the Long-Covid issues. Allegra is doing much better although her hair loss has increased dramatically since being back. The knee surgery went well but came with a challenging recovery and saw slow improvement. We are thankful his knee was strong enough to manage all the travels! Overall, Tyler still feels sub-par, but we trust the Lord for strength and energy for each day\u2019s needs. Thank you for upholding him in prayer!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>   Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
