March 17, 2016 by Valdecio and Suzy daSilva We took a trip to Brazil in the beginning of January for a few weeks to see our families and supporters of our ministry. Here are some pictures of our time in Brazil. I hope you enjoy the pictures! Our home church neighborhood in Brazil. Valdecio had an opportunities to share about our ministry several times at different churches. These are a few of the Brazilians brothers and sisters that pray for us and for our ministry! Believers consecrating themselves during service to serve the Lord! First days we spent with our home church . Visiting a small group in our first night in our home church in Brazil. Sharing with these precious supporters the ministry that they play a part in it! You are going to see a bunch of pics with some of our relatives and friends in Brazil! visiting with a dear friend…and catching up! My aunt she is 93 years old and she is still sharp! The beaches in Brazil are beautiful and the sand is so clear! On the sidewalk of the beach I saw these Brazilian’s Indians selling crafts! neighborhood close to the place where we were staying! You can buy bikinis at the beach! She was happy to show off! The life guards at the beach train every single day! If you like riding bicycles you get a chance there! Walking is my favorite sport! If you forget your water bottle you can buy it right here on beach! My family took us to the “Sugar Loaf” a very well known tourist place in Rio. It was so much fun! I needed courage to get on cable car.I was so affraid to go for the ride “that thing” was going very High… Once we got on the top of the “Sugar Loaf” Mountain I relaxed! Uff! We were just amaized by the beauty of the City! The “Sugar Loaf” Montain. I was so scared but amazed by the view! After we got down from the “Sugar Loaf” mountain. We went to enjoy an open market and some traditional place that displays the Northeastern culture of Brazil! At this market I really felt I was in the another part of country because the food , culture, and pople’s mannerism are all different even though we were still in my home State of Rio de Janeiro. We got to wear the hats that the folks from Northeastern of Brazil wear! Do we look good? I found this one that would be great for the heat at the beach in Rio… I am not serious guys! I am joking… but it was so much fun wear it just for the picture! My mother-in-law turned 80 in January and we had the chance to celebrate it with her! We almost got all Valdecio’s sibbling together… two of them along with their families could not make it for the family reunion for his mom 80’s birthday. My family took me to the mall in Rio . The Malls are always full of people that take their families to walk around and have some fun! Oh my word… have you ever had Acai? You should … it is so delicious! My sis took me to this place that just have exotic fruits juices from the Amazon jungle! Look what I saw in the mall in Rio de Janeiro… Yes, it is not a mirage … Whenever Valdecio and I are in Brazil we have to depend on public transportation which is really good in Brazil. Subway station in Sao Paulo- Brazil the subway train… When I was in Rio de Janeiro I got to see a friend of mine that I have not seen her around 30 years. It was so good seeing her again! I got to see some of my cousins! more family! my sis and her hubby and my cousin and her hubby ! We wish we have had time to see all our friends and all our families members but unfortunately we did not have much time to visit everyone ! but we are grateful for the ones that we could see ! We hope next time see the ones that we could not visit! Our friends spoiled us feeding us so much! We had such a great time with them! These friends came to visit us! They traveled over an hour in hot weather and they still had a beautiful smile on their faces. Love them too! Let’s go to Sao Paulo now… we visited the famous “Municipal Market” fresh foods all over the place… “Municipal Market” Sao Paulo… I got overwhelmed with so many kinds of different food in this market. beautiful fruits all year around in Brazil! Valdecio and I decided to have a coconut water! Delicious… so sweet After having the coconut water we decided to eat the pulp! so good! The end of our time in Brazil visiting supporters and family… We already miss them all!
