{"id":193,"date":"2009-10-05T15:36:23","date_gmt":"2009-10-05T07:36:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/walter-spicer\/?p=193"},"modified":"2010-02-25T13:21:19","modified_gmt":"2010-02-25T05:21:19","slug":"back-into-routine","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/walter-spicer\/2009\/10\/05\/back-into-routine\/","title":{"rendered":"Back into Routine"},"content":{"rendered":"<figure id=\"attachment_227\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-227\" style=\"width: 180px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a rel=\"attachment wp-att-227\" href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/walter-spicer\/2009\/10\/05\/back-into-routine\/dscf3157-2\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-227 \" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/walter-spicer\/files\/2009\/10\/DSCF31571-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"Juliana playing volleyball\" width=\"180\" height=\"135\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/walter-spicer\/files\/2009\/10\/DSCF31571-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/walter-spicer\/files\/2009\/10\/DSCF31571-1024x768.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 180px) 100vw, 180px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-227\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Juliana playing volleyball<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>We are getting settled back into our school routine.\u00a0 We just finished a full week of school.\u00a0 Our girls have had their first piano lesson and soccer and volleyball practice\/tryouts have kept the older kids busy after school.\u00a0 I have been in the health office more this week, taking over for one nurse still coming and taking the place of another who left with the high school.<\/p>\n<p>The high school kids didn\u2019t have a \u201cnormal\u201d week however.\u00a0 They went to the high school retreat on Thursday to have a time of bonding and spiritual refreshment before the year gets started.\u00a0 They got back Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0Walter is wearing several \u201chats\u201d this year.\u00a0 He will have two middle school students in NILD therapy, two different Math 7 classes (advanced and regular levels), is in charge of the middle school senate, and will be girls\u2019 basketball coach.\u00a0 Outdoor Ed. week falls at the end of the season and a tournament is at that time so he will need help during that week.\u00a0 He is also the Discovery coordinator and will help the middle school principal a little.\u00a0<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>We are still praying about a ministry for our family to be involved in as well as a church to attend.\u00a0 Our children also need to have some service hours with school and we would like it to be more ministry type.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0Our son, Ben will be starting his college classes this week.\u00a0 We are excited that he can be with family our first time separated by an ocean.\u00a0 He has a good job that will continue through the semester (he isn\u2019t thrilled with the early morning hours though).\u00a0 We are thankful for Skype and modern technology.\u00a0 It is nice to see him through the webcam when we talk.\u00a0 However, the different time zones make it a challenge to find time to call each other.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0Thank you for praying for us,<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0Cheryl for the Spicers<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are getting settled back into our school routine.
