The Spicer Family<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Life at Faith Academy is always full with many activities.\u00a0 Walter\u2019s classes are going well and we are thankful to be a part of this ministry, helping to spread the gospel in Southeast Asia.<\/p>\n

Walter continues to be busy with extracurricular activities.\u00a0 He is in charge of the middle school senate.\u00a0 They were in charge of a few activities, including a fund raiser and a Christmas party.\u00a0 He is getting help from other teachers which encourages him.\u00a0 I have been doing his shopping for these events.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Basketball is going well.\u00a0 The girls\u2019 varsity is still undefeated in high school competition.\u00a0 They had a good trip to Hong Kong and took the championship!\u00a0 He has a great group of girls.\u00a0 Ashley is on his team.\u00a0 Juliana is also enjoying playing on JV.\u00a0 Her team is young and has many inexperienced ones, but they all get some playing time. \u00a0Now the varsity team is preparing themselves for the big Far East Tournament in Japan.\u00a0 Due to two players quitting, Juliana will go with the team to bring their numbers up to 9 players (they can take ten players).<\/p>\n

Paul had a great time in Malaysia with the Honors Band.\u00a0 It was a good experience for him, especially since he is considering majoring in Music Education.\u00a0 He has been busy with classes and being with friends.\u00a0 He has applied to Calvary Bible Colleges.\u00a0 Pray for him as he makes decisions regarding his future.<\/p>\n

Abby has been making some new friends in her class.\u00a0 Several of these friends live closer to us so she has had more opportunities to get together with them.\u00a0 She is also in the Puppets of Praise club.\u00a0 She is learning how to perform with puppets.\u00a0 They will have some ministry opportunities this semester.<\/p>\n

I have helped a little more often in the health office due to some of the nurses being gone.\u00a0 It has been nice to interact more with students and other staff members as well.\u00a0<\/p>\n

We had a wonderful time with Ben as he came home for the holiday.\u00a0 It has been an adjustment having him so far away and 14 hours time difference.\u00a0 We are thankful for modern technology that allows us to see him and talk to him on Skype.\u00a0 He had a good time living with my parents this last semester and seeing some of his cousins.\u00a0 This semester he transferred to College of the Ozarks.<\/p>\n

In a couple weeks, the middle school will go for the week of Outdoor Education.\u00a0 The focus this time will be World War II historical sites.\u00a0 Walter will be a squad leader of nine 7th<\/sup> grade boys, and I will be the camp nurse.\u00a0 Paul is also going as a senior helper and will probably lead hikes on the island amongst other duties along with six other seniors.\u00a0 Pray that this will be a safe and enriching time for the middle school.\u00a0 They will have a speaker every night.\u00a0 Pray also for the preparation.\u00a0 A lot of work goes into this week.<\/p>\n
