It does not matter on your occupation, situation, or location; we all must depend on God for grace. In Bible college, one of the definitions I enjoyed for grace was simply the “power to do His will.” God always gives enough strength for each trial.

One of my favorite stages in parenting is raising a toddler. They are so full of life and need to depend on you. Most of the time they DO rely on you for food, shelter, clothing, health–everything. It is only when they are in a “ME Do” stage that they fall on their face and realize they needed to listen and depend on the parent more…the same is for us. We all need to depend on Him more as we go through life’s struggles

Our last two meetings in South Dakota went well. As always, we enjoyed the fellowship and enjoyed visiting with old friends and meeting new ones

We have two churches thinking about us sharing at their church, but we have no more scheduled. We need to start preparing our house for renters and packing up our things. We should be out of our house by the end of June to start packing for the Philippines and getting ready for the wedding. We will get to see a few more friends and family on the way to the wedding.

We praise God for how He continues to raise the finances for our outgoing expenses. Our goal is to raise $23,000 for outgoing expenses and we are presently at $14,200, which is 60% of our goal (another huge jump this month) and our monthly support is at 60%. We return on July 16 and are trusting God to supply our needs.

We are also thankful that Ashley and Juliana have summer jobs and Paul’s summer plans are going well with the wedding preparations as well. Ben and Jessica successfully completed their orientation with Pioneers Missions. They have moved to Kansas City, MO, and will work there for a year. Jessica has a nursing job and Ben has applied at several schools. They will also begin to raise their support to be missionaries in Brazil.

Thank you for your continued prayer support.

In Christ,

Walter

2 Corinthians 9:8, “And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.” While we are on our home assignment, we often hear from people: “I could never be a missionary!” But then after talking with them […]

[3,3929,3930

0":"post-464","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","6":"category-family","7":"category-news-article","8":"category-prayer-request","9":"entry
["GET
