Time in the Llanos<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>The Lord gave us a good trip out to the Llanos, or \"\"<\/a>prairies, to visit the Piapoco people there. It was especially nice to have a ride out there with some friends, the Plett family, and for them to experience a little bit of village life.<\/p>\n

Most our time was spent visiting the people, renewing friendships and encouraging the believers. \"\"<\/a>Wayne was able to work with the leaders, going over key issues for church growth and development. Pray that the believers will grow in the Lord under the pastoral care of the three church leaders, Pablo, Victor and Germ\u00e1n.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

How encouraging to see a young Christian couple like Enoch and Adriana who desire to serve the \"\"<\/a>Lord in teaching children the fundamental truths of God\u00b4s Word. Please pray for them as they partner with Germ\u00e1n and Sunamita in this ministry.<\/p>\n

We had a practice session of the Kids\u00b4 Bible Program, which included games that were enjoyed by all. Thank you for praying for these children to have a clear understanding of the gospel, and to place their faith in Christ at a young age.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Quality time was spent with Marcelino, as well, who continues to value our friendship. Pray that the barriers that are preventing him from renewing his relationship with the Lord will be broken down. He has suffered from bad health and aged \"\"<\/a>considerably in the last two years. He loves his grandchildren, but his relationship with his family has been strained.\u00a0 He is separated from Eva, but she has grown in the Lord through this trial, and is always such a blessing and encouragement to us. She and her girls hosted us in our old team house, making us feel quite welcomed.<\/p>\n

Now we are back home in the jungle area and have resumed ministries among the Piapocos here: checking over the New Testament revision, getting the Kids\u00b4 Program going again with Susana, continuing the ladies Bible study, and starting discipleship meetings with new believers. Thank you for being a part of what God is doing among the Piapoco people. We appreciate your involvement with us.<\/p>\n
