The Lord is at work in these three areas of Piapoco ministry, and we are thankful for all He is doing, even allowing us and you to be a part of it all. Thank you for joining us in prayer for the Piapocos and praising God for His perfect work in growing the Piapoco church.<\/p>\n

\"\"Recently the Jungle team headed upriver once again, two days\u2019 travel. Leaders of another village asked them to \u00b4Please come and teach us God\u00b4s Word.\u00b4 Pray for the team as they teach, and that the villagers, hearing the Evangelism lessons, will understand clearly and place their faith in Christ. Wayne spent time in prayer with the team before they left and to encourage them in the Word. They are also beginning to capture some of the aspects of their identity in Christ, as the Lord teaches their hearts.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile discipleship opportunities and teaching moves ahead here in the Piapoco neighborhoods of PI. We had asked for prayer that others would help with the children and women\u00b4s ministries. Thank the Lord that Nelly has resumed teaching the children with me and has also joined Susana in teaching the ladies of Limonar.\"\"
\nYou may remember that years ago our team had taught the gospel lessons in Limonar, where 12 Piapocos trusted in Christ for salvation. Now a few of these older Christian ladies come to the classes, but most the women and girls of the present generation don\u2019t have a clear understanding of the gospel. Some have commented on how wonderful it is to be taught God\u2019s Word in their own language.<\/p>\n

\"\"The Translation Project, although nearly finished, is on hold for lack of funding. Thank you for praying for the Lord\u2019s provision to complete the New Testament and for its publication. We are thankful for a gift from a single mom which allows Reynaldo to work with Wayne for a while, to check over more passages.<\/p>\n
