Moving Forward

March 14, 2007 by wes_chappell

Near the end of 2008 we moved into the Menya tribe, to slab lumber for building our houses.  This was a slow process but after a lot  of work, we had enough wood to build our houses. We had help from our home church and our support center. With house building behind us, we moved on to the task of culture and language study, in May 2009.  We love spending time with the Menya people, which we get to do a lot of, because we live right in the village. Language study is very hard work, but it is worth it to be able to share the Gospel in their heart language. Pray that we will make good progress this year. Our short home assignment is almost over, so we will be back in the tribe very soon!
