PNG in July!

We’re hoping to head back to PNG in July and already have enough money for tickets!  God is good.  We’ve enjoyed the time here in Maine.  Aaron has been working on his MBA to improve his effectiveness in the Business Office – 4 classes down, 8 to go.  Stacy has been busy homeschooling Kiera and Kaili.  We’ll be traveling from mid-June through July and would love to visit and tell you firsthand how God is working in Papua New Guinea.  We’re hoping to get all the way down to Florida, out to Missouri, Wisconsin, Ohio, and Michigan.

God is working in PNG!

Iski

We’ve highlighted our friends in the Iski work a few times – Jason and Nisae Williamson.  They have done a terrific job helping people see what it’s like living in Iski, from hiking in deep mud to listening to a tribal praise service.

Check out their posts for tribal missionary life in Papua New Guinea!

Amdu

The Amdu work is getting closer to teaching!  They have taught literacy and are working on Bible lessons.  Recently, one of the Hatton kids was medevac’d for appendicitis – just like Kobe was over a year ago.  Check out the Hatton’s updates here:

Kobe, Kiera, and Kaili

Kaili had a successful basketball season – winning the league championship!  Her team was undefeated!  It helped having the league MVP and 2 other all-stars on the team – as well as Kaili, of course.  Kaili had a season-high 16 points!

Kobe was on the varsity squad.  Although their team didn’t do as well, Kobe improved tremendously and ended up being the high scorer on the final game of the season!

…not to be outdone, although Kiera was not involved in any sports, she is a slime-making expert!  She loves to do hair and babysit and is our resident entrepreneur.

When we get back to PNG, Kobe will be a junior, Kaili will start high school (is that possible??), and Kiera will be in 8th grade.  After Kobe graduates in 2 years, we’ll come back to America for the summer – or perhaps take another education furlough to finish up the MBA.
