We have so much to be thankful for I this festive season. As we look forward to celebrating Christ’ coming to this earth we also look back and thank God for the ways he has allowed us to minister in PNG. The last few months have been very full, as many of you can relate to I’m sure! We have enjoyed our work in the office and other work and fun things. I, Erika, had the opportunity to go to a ladies retreat, and it was so special to spend time with ladies, sit under great teaching and be spoiled by good food and fun.
Trees, Trees, Trees
We had visitors from one of our supporting churches who were a huge blessing to us and the center here! Jess Seekins cut down many trees that no one here wanted to touch as they were close to homes and power lines. His wife, Jeribeth, helped in our school. Aaron helped Jess with tree cutting a few weeks ago, and this week he’s helping with remodeling an old house that needed a lot of maintenance.
Spiritual Emphasis Weekend (SEW)
Joel and Grace , along with the rest of the high school, attended a Spiritual Emphasis Weekend (SEW) what would be like a camp back home. They both came away encouraged and challenged! I also went to help cook for about 90 people.
Praise & Prayer
The Allan and Hatton families both recently passed their last language and culture check in the Amdu people group. They are teaching literacy classes now and also preparing Bible lessons in order to start teaching in the beginning of the new year. Pray for strength, wisdom, accuracy, and prepared hearts.
Praises:
God’s Word is being taught in many locations in PNG!
Health
Prayers:
Amdu tribe which will hear the gospel for the first time next year.
Micah – as he’s working and doing life in WA, and Rachel & Andrew in missions training.
Aaron & I as we are advisors to Joel’s 11th grade class, for wisdom & energy.
Thank you so much for your support! We are so grateful for all the prayers & finances that make it possible for us to do what we do! Together we are reaching the lost for our great Savior & King!
Love,
Aaron & Erika Joel & Grace
