Goodbye Missouri –
The time has come for us to leave the missionary training center in Missouri. We could not be more grateful for everyone who made it possible for us to spend 2 ½ years here, receiving what we believe to be the best training for cross cultural missions. So many have come around us to encourage us and support us financially throughout this process and we are so thankful for each and every one of you. We also want to thank all our teachers, mentors and everyone who has been involved in our training. As we head on to our next step, we feel that we have been more than adequately prepared for what can only be described as an impossible task.
What’s next?
- Friday, December 13th – move back to Tennessee
The Lord has answered our prayers and provided us with an apartment to live in for the next year. We want to thank Carl and Linda Roberson for graciously being willing to host us and we are so thankful for the beautiful place to live. The Lord worked it out perfectly so we can be close to our home church, Valley Forge FWB.
The year of 2020 is one that we look forward to with great anticipation, excited about all that the Lord will do.
Aside from being new parents, our fulltime job will be Ministry Partnership Development (MPD). Basically, we have the privilege of spending a year telling others about what the Lord is doing around the world and giving them the opportunity to be involved. We are so thrilled to play a part in reaching the lost with the gospel and if there is anything we have learned, it is that there is no way for us to do it on our own. For the lost to be reached and mature churches planted, it requires the entire Body of Christ to be involved, whether it be through prayer, encouragement, physical help or financial help. We are excited to see the team that the Lord raises up throughout this coming year to accomplish His purpose.
- January 22nd – Simeon’s due date
We appreciate your prayers and all the help we can get as we enter into this exciting yet daunting new phase of being parents!
- May – August – Travelling around the U.S. and Canada to visit family and give our family, friends and churches we are connected with the opportunity to join us.
- January 2021 – Lord willing, depart for Papua New Guinea
If you would like any more information on what this next year will look like for us or the ministry we are involved in, please feel free to ask.
Thank you again for all of your faithful prayers, encouragement and support,
Andrew, Rachel & Simeon Trott
