Dear Friends,
Our time out West was sweet, with much quality time spent with family. Due to COVID, many of the ministry opportunities we were hoping for did not happen, but we’re grateful for a few opportunities the Lord brought about. We were able to meet with a few individuals, catch up with some ministry partners, and Andrew was able to share with a Men’s Bible study, as well as a youth group in Nebraska. We also have a church that is considering coming on board as a ministry partner.
We are now back home in Tennessee, and are excited to see what the Lord has in store for us. The road ahead over this next year of Ministry Partnership Development can seem daunting if our gaze drifts earthward, but we know our God has a plan, and with Him all things are possible. We are looking forward to having more opportunities to share more about the work we are blessed to be a part of, and how others can be involved too!
I’m sure most of of you would agree, It has been heartbreaking to witness the increasing turmoil our nation has been going through over the past few months. Above all of the specific issues we are facing as a country, I am reminded of the overarching problem all of humanity faces: We are all sinful, separated from God and helpless to save ourselves, with salvation through faith in Christ being our only hope to ever be reconciled to God. My prayer for me, our family and the Body of Christ as a whole, is that we take full advantage of the opportunities we have, and continue to become even more effective witnesses of the gospel of Jesus Christ through word and action. Thankfully, though the world around us continues to grow darker, His light in us can shine even more brightly. What a privilege we have to share the Good News!
While we were out of town we had a few ministry partners come on board, and we’re grateful!
Yet, our current percentage of needed support recently went down slightly to 25%, and we are rejoicing. Confused? Well, we are rejoicing because our ministry budget needed to increase due to the Lord blessing us with another little one! Simeon’s got a little sibling on the way, due February 6th.
We’re grateful to be a part of what He’s doing, and whether you pray, give, etc thank you for being a part too!
Points of Prayer:For more opportunities to share our ministry. That God would continue to stir in hearts and grow our team of ministry partners.Rachel and baby Trott as he or she continues to grow. |
Gratefully, -Andrew & Rachel Simeon & Baby Trott |
