Hey friends,
In one month’s time, God has brought in 27.5% of our needed monthly support, for a current total of 77.1%. We hope you rejoice with us for what He has done! We are grateful for those who have chosen to partner with us, it’s exciting to see Him continuing to build our team.We were praying to reach 75% by the end of March, and He has exceeded that. We have been marveling at how He is providing through His people! I was recently reminded that yes, what He is doing is incredible, but at the same time, we should not be surprised when He provides for His work. We should by all means give Him the praise, but should also not be surprised by His faithfulness and consistency with His character. We knew if He wanted us involved in this work that He has allowed us to take part in, He would provide. Great is His faithfulness!
We have been given the “Green Light” by Ethnos360 to go, since we have reached the 75% minimum support threshold. We are grateful to have reached this minimum level, and we are depending on Him to provide the remaining 23% over the next 6 weeks in order for us to be well prepared to begin our ministry in Papua New Guinea. We are waiting on our Entry Permits (Visas) to be approved, then it will be time to send our passports to be stamped, then purchase plane tickets. We’re praying He works out all the timing with this process, since we are down to around 6 weeks left until we need to depart.
We’re thankful that He also worked everything out for us to be able to receive our necessary vaccinations for PNG a couple days ago. We’re pretty drained physically as a result, but glad to have that completed.
We have lots on our plate currently with weeding out unneeded items, packing for PNG as well as multiple meetings and sharing opportunities before we leave for Washington State in just over a week. Thank you for your prayer as we walk through this busy season!
Points of Praise: -More new ministry partners! -Vaccinations done. -Green Light to go! -Several recent one-time gifts have covered our launch fund, and are chipping away at our House-Build fund. Points of Prayer: -We’re praying He will provide 100% of our needed monthly financial support by our leave date in mid-May. -Entry permits for PNG (Visas) to be approved in a timely manner. -Energy and focus for our many upcoming opportunities to share the ministry we’re apart of, as well as packing and preparing to go. |
Gratefully, -Andrew & Rachel, Simeon & Hazel |
