We really are privileged to get to do ministry here at PQQ. We not only believe this is a vital ministry, but we actually really ENJOY working here as well. Don’t get me wrong, there are times we really want to go ‘home.’ There are times when we feel like, ‘What in the world are we doing here?!’ and ‘I sure do wish I could just order take-out tonight.’ 😉
But honestly, this place has become ‘home’ too. We long to go ‘home’ for a visit, but this is the ‘home’ where we live. And we are blessed. We don’t know how long the Lord will have us serve here, but we are thankful for the time thus far. And this semester we are also thankful for the time Joel’s parents are here. This is their last year here & we have been blessed to get to spend this time with them. The kids have really been enjoying their time with their grandparents as well.
So thank you to those of you who support us & this ministry! We couldn’t be here without your help & we sure couldn’t make it on those rough days without His help (through/with your prayers & encouragement!).
As the song says, “Count your blessings, count them one by one. Count your blessings, see what God has done. Count your blessings, count them one by one. Count your many blessings, see what God has done!”
