We are excited to say that we now have 75% of our monthly support either pledged or already given! Thank you to each one who has given for your generosity and also to every person who has prayed for this. It is another milestone of God’s faithfulness that wouldn’t have been possible without the prayers and partnership of all of you. We are so thankful to be at 75%, but the reality is that this by itself is not a sustainable income level for effective ministry. Please continue to pray that the remainder of our monthly support will be provided. If you know of someone who might be interested in financially supporting us feel free to share with them our contact information below. Our website ethnos360.org/anthony-haskins is also a great and easy resource to share with someone about us.
Now for an update about our Papua New Guinea work permits and visas. Our mission leadership has been working hard to get the permissions and paperwork for our group of new missionaries to leave roughly one month from now. God has been opening doors but for whatever reason, we have only received Anthony’s work permit and not Kara Linn’s. Without Kara Linn’s work permit we cannot apply for our visas which are currently taking about a month to process. As you can see, our time frame is very narrow to be able to join our fellow missionaries on their flight to Papua New Guinea. Please pray that Kara Linn’s work permit will be issued today and that our visas will then be processed faster than we even hope. Until we receive these documents, we cannot enter Papua New Guinea.
With much still unconfirmed, please pray that we would trust in God’s timing and plans, as many logistical things might need to happen on short notice. God cares about the people of Papua New Guinea but he also cares about us and whether or not we are abiding in Him as a branch abides in the vine for it’s source of life. So thank you for praying for us! God cares about you too. Please let us know how we can pray for you.
Grace and Peace,
Anthony and Kara Linn Haskins
