As a Guanano team of lesson developers Lindy, Barry, Gustavo and Mario continue forging forward and revising Bible lessons on the book of Ephesians, and revising the 68 chronological Bible lessons we use to evangelize. Our goal over the next 3-4 years is to develop expository lessons on 12 more New Testament epistles that the Guanano Bible teachers and future pastors will teach the church from. At this time Lindy and I have the biggest part in the development process. We do the Bible studying ahead of each day and we are the ones that have the computers, do the typing, formatting, editing and printing the lessons, while Gustavo and Mario mainly sit with us each day to read over, make natural and correct, and then Lindy and I re-type them.
Mario who is a key part of this project has asked for our help to become computer literate. He wants to learn everything we know about Microsoft Word, how to format the lessons, how to save and organize them on hard drives, jump drives, how to develop new lessons from scratch and how to edit them. His rationale is that if anything were to happen to Lindy or me, the Guanano church would lose all the printed resources they have helped us develop. Lindy and I would like to see Mario have his own laptop and printer, teach him how to type and then begin to slowly incorporate him into the rest of the process so that someday he, along with others, could do all of this without us. This is great and part of our goal which is to train them and then hand over all areas of the ministry to them to carry forward. Pray along with us asking Father God for ways to see this happen. Thanks so much!
