Reunited!

After several months on different continents, our team is back together again in PNG!!

When we were last together in March, we spent several weeks working on our team strategy and talking through issues that we will face when we live in the tribe.  Then the Hatton family had to quickly leave the country to be with family in the States as they faced the death of Benjamin’s father.  The Parry family went back to Australia for a short furlough.  And we stayed here in PNG.

Now that we are all back together again, we picked right up where we left off with plans for getting into the tribe that we are targeting.  During our time apart, the Lord continued to open doors into that tribe so now we are moving ahead with more specific plans.

Next week the men plan to fly into the tribe, hike around to many different villages in the language group and maybe even determine where we might be able to build our houses.  Please pray for us as we figure out the logistics for accessing and being supplied in this remote tribe.  Please also pray for sufficient finances for each family on our team to be able to sustain ministry over the long haul in this location.

Each step is one closer to this group of tribal people tucked away in the mountains being able to hear the Truth of God’s Word!!  Please keep praying for us!!
