Three Years Today

December 12, 2015 by Benjamin and Missy

Version 2

It was three years ago today right around noon that I heard the drone of the mission plane bringing Missy and the kids for the first time to Amdu. They were coming for good and I remember well the anticipation of that moment. So much has happened since that day three years ago. God has supplied us with his grace in every challenge whether it be learning a new language, developing new friendships, eating new food, or working the kinks out of home schooling our children. But God’s grace has been most abundantly seen in the generosity that so many of you have shown us by supporting our family and praying for us. As we reflect on all God has done for us we praise the Lord for you. Keep praying for the work in Amdu. We will still be in language learning when we return to PNG at the end of February. We hope to be finished within 2016! And then on to building the Amdu literacy program and writing Bible lessons all in preparation for presenting the Gospel. Thank you so much for enabling us to be disciple makers in Amdu. Merry Christmas and May your hearts be filled with the joy of Emmanuel, God with us
