Goodbye 2020!

January 13, 2021 by Bob and Debbie Clark

This past year has been different for all of us. We wanted to let you all know how much we appreciate your prayers and support for us.  Bob has been able to continue with his work from home without much difficulty. The pandemic has led to the postponement of his travels but there have been many things that he has been able to continue to do without much change, thanks to internet access for so many of our co-workers on the other side of the world. He is continuing to work to get the Tugutil Bible ready for printing. He is also working to be ready whenever international travel is open, so that he can resume doing on-site translation checks for translators he is overseeing in the Asia-Pacific region.

Debbie continues to work in Parkview Hospital’s Outpatient Physical Therapy Department. It has been busy and so far there have not been any outbreaks in her department. Michelle and John Parker are doing well with their jobs in Warsaw, IN. Michelle will be starting a Master’s Program with Indiana University for Library Science this month. She will be able to work on that as she continues to work at the Warsaw Library. Stephen is now serving our country full-time at the regional headquarters here in Fort Wayne. His girls continue to grow up, with Maggie becoming a teenager this past year and the twins, Katie and Jade, turning 11. We enjoyed our time together as a family and are glad that we live close to our kids and granddaughters. That has not always been the case. We thank the Lord for these blessings.

Amazingly, our granddaughters escaped the T Rex!

May God be merciful and bless us.

May his face smile with favor on us.

May your ways be known throughout the earth,

your saving power among people everywhere.

May the nations praise you, O God.

Yes, may all the nations praise you.

         – Psalm 67:1-3
