Over the past year, Bob has consulted for six different translation projects, totaling over 6,000 verses of Scripture, has drafted nearly 1,500 more Old Testament verses for the Tugutil translation, and has learned much about Scripture typesetting. Amazingly, all of that could be done without leaving home thanks to modern technology.
Here in the Midwest the temperatures are beginning to climb again, and the climate for travel is also warming up. The quarantine restrictions in much of Asia have now been lifted, and so Bob will be boarding a plane early next month for his first international flight in more than two years. He will be doing translation checking for two translation projects, one of which has a new translator who has prepared about 10 chapters of Genesis. In the other language group there is a more experienced translator who has prepared the books of Ruth, 1 Corinthians, Galatians and James, as well as several chapters of Proverbs. Counting the material prepared in both locations, he and the translators are hoping to check over 1,600 verses of Scripture during this trip. So please be praying for good health, stamina, concentration and, most importantly, God’s wisdom as they evaluate each passage.
Tugutil Bible Dedication
As you know, last October we were able to send in the first batch of printed Tugutil Bibles to our brothers and sisters in Christ, but we could not be there ourselves. Now it looks like we may finally be able to schedule a celebration with the Tugutil people for October of this year, so plans are starting to come together for both of us to attend that long-awaited event!
We will also be inviting many officials, dignitaries and other guests, and would appreciate your prayers for all the logistics involved.

Because of Calvary,
Bob & Debbie Clark
