Please pray for the Kodiak project. The Kodiak is a new airplane that is planning to roll off the assembly line for the first time this January. For a short time they are going to be discounted to only $375,000 as opposed to their projected price of around $1.2 million. It really has been a project that God has been involved in from start to finish, and we are anxious to see some of these make their way to the mission field.
These airplanes are especially urgent to us at New Tribes as we have several mission fields that cannot operate without airplanes. The airplanes we have in those areas are dependent on AV Gas for the smaller gasoline powered airplanes. AV Gas is unavailable in these areas of the world and many of our airplanes are grounded simply because we do not have fuel available to put in them. Forget the fact that it can cost up to $15/gallon! The Kodiak will burn Jet Fuel which is readily available and can cost as little as $1.50/Gallon.
