ON THE HOME FRONT

January 31, 2015 by Brian and Bailey Pruett

The kids are learning so much not just through school but through Awanas. It such a blessing to see them growing in their knowledge of their Savior and the things around them.

Maycie’s homeschooling has been really fun and it’s so exciting to see her learn new things and grow. While we haven’t been doing much formal schooling for Dylan, he sits in on a lot of Maycie’s school and I am just blown away at how much he gets from it. What is even more amazing is that the kids are learning despite my impatience and lack of teaching skills. God is so good and I am thankful He uses us in our weakness!

Dylan and Maycie have been attending Awanas in a nearby town and they have really been enjoying that. It has been a great way for our kids to get to know other kids and it has been so exciting to see them grow in their knowledge of who God is and what He’s done for us. In doing that, they have really come to understand what it is that we do in the Philippines and why we do it. We are so thankful for the teachers and others here who have invested in our children and helped them to see our need for Jesus.
