“And we are confident that he hears us whenever we ask for anything that pleases him. And since we know he hears us when we make our requests, we also know that he will gives us what we ask for.”
-1 John 5:14-15
Prayer
- We are headed to the Philippines! We will be there for just short of two week. Pray for safe travels to and around the country and a sweet time of reconnecting with people.
- Brian has one helicopter student, Patrick Hofstetter. Pray for Brian to have wisdom, energy and skill as he trains Patrick. Pray for Patrick and Mariah to stay encouraged and learn all they can.
- Our original sending church (been supporting Brian since 1998) closed its doors at the end of last year. What an amazing relationship it has been! Pray for us to find new supporters to fill in the financial hole this leaves behind.
- Pray for our Asia Pacific helicopter import. It is packed in a shipping container ready to go. We need clear permissions from the shipping company before it can ship. We have 2 new helicopter pilots who have already been trained that are there waiting for a helicopter to fly so we can start that flight program.
Praises
- A couple of months ago, our Brazil helicopter flew to a new people group for the first time! This is in an area that has been blocked from us entering for over 4 years. The efforts to block us have finally been overturned and God overcame other obstacles Satan put in our way. It’s a pretty big deal!
- One of the church plants we used to fly for in the Philippines has completed the translation of the New Testament into the Banwaon language! They are hoping to have it printed and into the hands of the people in just a couple of months!
- This year has brought beautiful mentors for our kids through the trainees passing through and the amazing community here. They also have coaches on the mountain bike team who are believers who are investing in them. As parents, we couldn’t ask for more!
- This year we are planning for 7 of the new helicopter pilots that we’ve trained to begin flying overseas to boost our teams who have been woefully understaffed.
