Hardship from the Opposing Team

October 4, 2012 by Brion and Annette Kendzora

Tonight, Brion and I start teaching the Firm Foundations Bible lessons to 5th and 6th graders in the Clifford community. We just had a guest speaker at school who was telling us as soon as we are about to teach God’s word to people, we are going to have grief from the opposing team. Let me tell you, I am feeling that today! I cannot even imagine having the strength I need to teach those kids tonight, but the cool thing is, I know God will be with me and supply what I lack.

The Firm Foundations is a a series of lessons that starts at the very beginning of time and works its way chronologically through the Old Testament all the way through up until death and resurrection of Christ. We are so excited to teach these kids, but we need prayer as well. Please pray that God would prepare the hearts of the kids that will come to kids club. Pray also that Brion and I would be able to put the time and energy into each lesson so that the kids may have a clear understanding of what is being taught. And finally pray that God would give us the health and strength we need each week to be there for and teach these children!
