Planters Anonymous

April 10, 2013 by Brion and Annette Kendzora

1 Corinthians 3:6-8

“I planted the seed in your hearts, and Apollos watered it, but it was God who made it grow. It’s not important who does the planting, or who does the watering. What’s important is that God makes the seed grow. The one who plants and the one who waters work together with the same purpose. And both will be rewarded for their own hard work.”

This is something that we are keeping close to our hearts as we walk the road of fundraising. It is not an easy or a comfortable task to ask others for money, but the thing is, this isn’t about us. We all have roles in seeing unreached people come to know Christ. For some it is out in the tribe with the people themselves, for others it is flying a plane or buying supplies to help those in the bush and for others it is supporting from home by praying and giving financially. Not one of these roles is easier or better than the other. God uses us ALL for a purpose, for His purpose. He is the one who gets the credit.

How awesome that those who support us are truly our partners and we are all in this goal/task together! We are not the only ones who will be reaching these lost people, but so will everyone who plays a part in supporting our ministry. How amazing that we can all serve the Lord together as the Body of Christ.
