We want to thank you all for sticking with us through these tough times of transition. It took us awhile to see what God has been doing through all of this. To be honest, at times, I had my doubts. But the Lord has been so gracious to us and is teaching us to trust Him. Proverbs 3:5-6 says: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.” What does it mean to trust the Lord with “all your heart”? This is something we continue to learn every day. God knows why we are here. We just need to continue to trust him even though the path is, a lot of times, foggy and unclear.
So, what is our ministry now?
To simplify what we do, we work with new missionaries; some who have just graduated Ethnos360 training and some who want to volunteer for 2-4 years. For these volunteers, we have a two-week training course that we help teach every year. We are learning all about our new position and how to best care for these new missionaries. It is our goal to have healthy thriving missionaries that can serve Christ for many years to come, reaching out to the least reached people groups of the world.
There is much excitement about us being a young family serving at the Ethnos360 home office. We have a few other young family’s serving here but we are the minority. God has us here at the home office for a reason and we are confident that God has big plans for us here. Without a strong home base, we cannot function as a mission.
The Kids
The kids are enjoying Florida and the warm weather, although they do ask about snow a lot.
- Eli loves to draw and ask questions about very random things. He is starting some school work and likes every schoolbook page to be perfect.
- Jonah has turned into a little hoarder and will fill his backpack with so many things he can barely carry it.
- Liviana loves to help in the kitchen and follows and copies everything her brothers do.
