The privilege was ours as we had the chance to speak for four weeks at two different Bible Camps, Camp Praise and Fir Point Bible Camp. Our family was fed not only amazing camp food but also the Word of God. The boys enjoyed playing with cousins and students while building forts and sand castles. Bryan and I were given one hour a day to talk about missions and share where we are going. We are thankful for the opportunities that we were given and for the students that were excited about how to be a part of our ministry now and in the future. Here is where the Lord surprised us! We were not thinking how the Lord would touch the staff at each camp. It was the volunteer staff that came to be counselors, deans, cooks, nurses, lifeguards, or rover that either blessed us or else expressed a lot of interest in ministry overseas. We were focused on the students and never thought about the impact our presentations would have on the staff. It became a hidden blessing from God and a true treat.
Our family enjoyed every individual week because each had its own flavor. One of the best parts of spending time with some of Bryan’s family became working along side of them in their ministry as they ran the camps. Thanks to you all and we loved meeting all our new friends.
