We made it in one piece after our adventure through the jungle! The church property was landscaped very well. The pastors house was also on the church property. The boys started playing tag with each other and a friend that came with us. Then after a little while I said to tag one of the PNG children. Well that started a great game of tag with all of them. It was very helpful to have something to watch as our conversations were very short. The people were so welcoming and nice. They would talk to us like we understood what they were saying at first, then they started catching on that we were new and switched to sharing the basics, like how many children they had, there names. Of corse we exchanged lots of smiling and laughter! We all felt really comfortable with them, and Bryan did a great job interacting with the men as you will see in the other post below!! We look forward to coming and getting to know these new friends in the futre!
