Thankful Thursday #5

January 30, 2020 by Cameron and Katy Pryor

  • I’m thankful to be in a big city at the moment, where there’s plenty of options for doctors and medical labs. I’ve had on and off fevers for almost 2 weeks, I’m getting different things checked out, trying to figure out what it is before we hit the road again. Prayers appreciated.
  • I’m thankful for a really good workshop we attended about assessing risk. It gave us some helpful tools in figuring out how risky certain places or events are to help us know how to react. Do we leave? Do we look for ways to decrease the risk? It even gave us plenty of examples from the Bible of how people reacted to risky situations.
  • I’m thankful for the story of Joseph. That story always reminds me that it can take a long time…even years for the plan God has to be obvious to us and make sense, but to keep trusting Him throughout it.
