Travel is not just familiar, but comfortable. Between moves and vacations I’ve done my share of traveling. Living in three states prior to graduating high school was great preparation. There was even a year we called the “Gypsy Year” because we had a home in one state but spent more of our time at relative’s homes in another state. Then there were the family vacations. I had been from Main to California and down to Florida by the time I was 10.
Traveling has always been a part of my life. Lately I feel the urge to travel on a monthly basis. If I sit still for more than a few weeks I start itching for a long drive. I’m thankful God has given me a love for these journeys which seem to be a constant part of my life. I’m also thankful today is a travel day! I’m flying across the country to visit dear friends and family. As much as I love driving, flying, discovering new places, and all that is involved, the best part of traveling is the friends on the other end of the journey or the ones taking the journey with me!
