Hello again. We hope you all are well and surviving the cold winter. Things are well with us. We’ve been meeting with people and sharing our vision for Papua New Guinea with them. It has been a fun time of reconnecting with old friends and making some new ones. In a couple of weeks we’ll be heading north to spend the holidays with family. We’re looking forward to spending some good time with them as this may be our last Christmas in the U.S. for many years.
On December 4th we celebrated Micah’s 5th birthday and he had his first real birthday party. Four friends came over and they made snowman snacks, went on a treasure hunt, and enjoyed pizza and cake. He had a blast, except he was too shy to blow out the candles on the cake while everyone was watching, so his friends helped him out.
Cole is enjoying life and enjoying driving mommy nuts by his constant barrage of questions all day every day (and many questions don’t make sense). He and Micah love reading books, listening to music, and chasing each other around the house. Maisie is walking and running around now and she loves being chased and wrestling. She’s already a tom-boy, but mommy dresses her in pretty pink outfits so she at least looks like a little princess even though she refuses to act like one.
Have a great day!
