*Don’t use UPS or FedEx. They tend to take a while and often get held up at various locations.
> Use either DHL or the Post Office. Both of these can be tracked, and that is often helpful. But don’t be fooled by their promised delivery dates. Most of the time it can take up to 10 days or longer to get there from the states.
> Have them marked “for missionary use only”.
> Do not be deceptive (on the customs form), but you can be as generic and general as possible. For example, instead of writing “shampoo, conditioner, lotion,” you can just write “personal hygiene items.” While there is no guarantee what will be inspected and charged customs, this has shown to be helpful in the past.
