A List of Wishes

February 28, 2011 by Chris and Maggie Hostetter

Baby Bailey
Baby Bailey

Several of you have asked us how you can help our family outfit itself to survive in the jungles of Papua New Guinea. Well, there are many things that we need, so I thought it might be easiest to make a registry at Target so that those who are interested can see a list and go from there. You can find it at Target.com or in the store under the name “Hostetter needs.”

And, if you already have something on the list and are looking to send it around the world so you never have to see it again, we aren’t too picky about colors/brands/etc.! Just remember: almost everything we take with us must be NON-ELECTRIC in order to be useful.

Some things we need that aren’t available at target: a stove-top waffle iron found here – http://www.wisementrading.com/outdoorcooking/castiron.htm (the one near the bottom of the page, called Old Fashioned Waffle Iron by Rome), a stove-top popcorn popper like this one – http://www.popcornpopper.com/24000.html, a stove-top toast rack like so – http://www.walmart.com/ip/Coghlan-s-Camp-Stove-Toaster/8586944?sourceid=1500000000000003260410&ci_src=14110944&ci_sku=8586944

If you have any questions please give us a call or send us an email. And thank you to so many of our friends who have already given us so much – from meals when Bailey was born to baby things and Christmas presents. We are so blessed by you all!
