Its been a busy time of preparing to go overseas. Last week we packed up most of the house and then I took all our stuff to Springfield, Missouri to get shipped to Papua New Guinea. I borrowed the brilliant Bristols’ Durango to pull my fabulous father’s trailer and had a smooth1500 miles of driving. Thanks guys!
The day I got home I found out our visas came in the mail and we are 100% done with paperwork. Praise the Lord. Paper work is no fun and now we’re glad its done.
We knew we were short on our monthly support but we had the money to buy plane tickets so we decided to ask our superiors in New Tribes Mission if we could make the move to PNG. They’ve told us to wait until our support is higher so that while we are in Papua New Guinea we can focus on ministry and not on finances. So, we sent out a newsletter earlier today sharing this story and our need for more monthly supporters. In the last couple of hours God has raised up some new supporters! Praise the Lord!
As of right now, our support is $3270/month. We need to get to 3700/month to be able to go and, of course, even higher is better. 100% support for our family of six is 7386/month.
Thank you for your prayers and support. The task God has set before us is not possible without you.
