As the weekend went on we were getting more and more anxious to hear from our coworkers who have been in the US waiting to see if Kim’s cancer had returned or if everything was fine and they could start planning their return to Papua New Guinea. Her appointment for what we hoped was the final test was on Monday, California time. So Tuesday morning, Papua New Guinea time, we were so happy to wake up and find an email in our inbox telling us that the appointment went great and that they are coming back to Pal!
We want to thank all of you who were praying for them with us. Please take time to praise God for His mercy and faithfulness on behalf of the Pal team! There are still details to figure out, like the best time in the next month or so for them to fly over here, so we are all praying for God’s continued direction and provision as we get closer to finally being a whole team.
Our time on the Madang province center is half over, and Chris is in town today doing what he hopes is the last of the “house” shopping. I’m staying near my phone so I can answer questions about the color of the kitchen chairs and the number of hooks or length of clothesline needed! Thanks for keeping us in your prayers and for supporting us as we minister in the Pal tribe.
