Excitement for this trip is building because many of the details we need to prepare for our departure next January will be solidified during this trip.
Last year, our trip was primarily to introduce the country to Betsy and Emily and for Christian to become reacquainted with it as an adult.
This coming June, Christian and a small group of our field leaders will be making a second trip to our field in Central Africa. Their time will focus on deepening the church contacts we have and continuing to understand how we can enter the country well in early 2023. This includes further networking with local believers, visiting several cities where we may locate initially, and even potentially visiting rural areas to gain a more accurate understanding of the needs outside of the larger cities.
The planning for this trip is just at its beginning stages. Many details will still be determined, so please pray for guidance and provision for this important trip! Our desire is to work alongside the local church to reach the many people without a relationship with Christ. We are trusting God to help us understand how this can be done in future years. For now, please pray we will meet the exact individuals and churches God would have us meet during this trip!
