From time to time we wonder how the training is affecting the students, our future co-laborers in reaching the least and un-reached people groups of the world. Recently one of our students shared this with her ministry partners (shared with permission).
“So what is one of the biggest lessons my Father has been teaching me throughout semester one?
Ever seen someone with stilts get their wooden legs knocked out from beneath them? I sometimes feel like the Lord is doing that with me here. He’s been exposing and stripping away the things I depended on to make me feel good about myself, in order to better grasp my identity in Jesus Christ and rest secure in His love for me—not in my accomplishments or others’ approval. Internalizing the Gospel of Grace is becoming a daily process for me…and absolutely essential if I am to share this good news with those who have never had an opportunity to hear before. “
WOW! The LORD is doing HIS work in the lives of these future missionaries. He is equipping His laborers, for His harvest field. When you pray for and give to our ministry here at the Missionary Training Center, you are a part of what GOD is doing.
Thank you for partnering in our ministry through praying and giving.
