Prayer needed – Reliable Car – Prayer answered!

March 3, 2017 by Craig and Cheryl Cassel

In many countries you can actually live with out owning a car. In America, you can do the same if you live in a big city. The common denominator is good public transportation. When you live in most other parts of America, you need to have good dependable transportation. Well, after many hours of working on our 2000 Buick Century with 268,000 miles on it, we are in need of a newer reliable car. We have our 2006 SUV, but it also has 206.000 miles on it. It’s in good shape and we will keep it for as long as we can.  We are wanting to spend some time this summer doing partnership development which includes many miles on the road. Also the more I have to be working on the car, the less time we are able to spend with people.  Please pray the Lord will raise up the funds to purchase a newer, lower miles and dependable vehicle.  We are thinking something like a Toyota Camry type of vehicle.

Thank you.

UPDATE:  God has answered our (collective) prayers. Recently because of several special gifts and our income tax refund we were able to purchase a 2003 Toyota Avalon with only 102,000 miles on it. We are trusting that it will be a good reliable car for many years to come. Thank you for praying.
