It’s been a great two years of training here at the Missionary Training Center. It has come to a close for 28 MTC students. Cheryl and I have had the privilege of being involved in the equipping and mentoring of these dear folks. Specifically, 11 out of the 28 have either been in our E-LINC group or we have being doing one-on-one with them for the last year and half. We count it a privilege to have lived life and gone deep with these folks. Pray for them as they continue in their journey of helping establish thriving churches among un-reached and least reached people groups around the globe.
What does this mean for Cheryl and I? It means good-byes once again. It means we continue on with our E-LINC Management Team (EMT) responsibilities. It also means we begin gearing up for a new class in August. We have a potential of 44 new missionary candidates coming. Over the summer we will begin setting up housing for them. Working along with our EMT team, we will begin going over their profiles, connecting them with E-LINC small groups as well as welcome them when they arrive.
One other thing we are trusting the Lord for this summer is to do some MPD or Ministry Partnership Development. This entails traveling and sharing our ministry vision and needs in churches and with individuals. Pray the Lord will raise up others who desire to partner with us in this ministry through prayer, encouragement and finances.
