Today, 24 August, 2006 is a BIG day in the life of Cody our son. He is embarking on a new adventure, the 5th Grade at Calvary Christian School in Derry NH. Yesterday we went as a family for orientation and to get his ton of books and today we took him for his 1st full day. He has 18 kids in his class, 13 boys and 5 girls. Ohhhh his teacher is in for a challenge. We also found out that there is an extra student named Bucky. He is a skeleton that often gets into trouble and has to stay in the closet. Today will be his first time taking a school bus home as well. We don’t have them in Indonesia!
Next week his sister Cheyenne will start kindergarten at the same school. She is full of questions, always asking if Cody will still be in school when she starts next week. We have assured here that he will be there and all will be fine.
