Dear Praying family and friends,
Thank you so very much for your prayers for us this past month. We have truly felt the Lord’s working in so many ways as a result of your labor in prayer. The call to prayer that we’ve been given is our greatest source of encouragement day to day and the reason for the amazing work God is doing around the world. So let us not be lax in our efforts in prayer before God’s throne of Grace. We’ll mention a few areas that we’ve seen God at work this month:
The 6th grader Darcy is teaching here is asking a lot of deep questions about faith and sin and separation from God. She admits that she wants to believe in the promised Deliverer who will forever crush Satan’s head and she wants to have a relationship with God.

Our teams in Asia-Pacific have made good progress on the translation projects that we mentioned last month. In addition to that, a new outreach has opened up (pictured right) in Chosen Waters. The outreach in Lone Rock is continuing and there are about 60 new studiers in Bungan. Pray that the word of God will be taught clearly and continue to penetrate the hearts of the people studying and that none would reject the truth.
Aprian (squatting in front) is also very thankful for your prayers for him as a final year missionary trainee. He has just returned to the training center this week from the tribe where he completed his final language practicum. He was able to finish well in spite of his computer and phone dying. The Holy Spirit has given him some amazing gifts to be able to build relationships and learn language that will be so much help to his future team if he ends up serving God in a new tribal area.

Oke and Darcy have been working through some of Oke’s Semandang Old Testament drafts in 1 and 2 Samuel. Darcy has been checking those drafts for content and doing some revisions and then sending it back for Oke to make sure that it still communicates well. Oke says thank you for your prayers for her health. She and Grace are doing much better and no longer coughing. Oke’s cholesterol has come back down as well.

We’ve got to include a recent picture of Toti’s little one, Charissa. She’s been growing by leaps and bounds and in December celebrated her first birthday. She is keeping her mom on her toes these days.
Praise & Prayer Requests:
- Pray for the studiers in the outreach areas to become more and more clear on the gospel message
- Pray for a new computer and phone for Aprian
- Pray for the finishing process of the Sekadau, Moi and Punan Bible translations.
Serving Him together,
Ron, Nita and Darcy Berglund
