Palm Sunday in the Philippines

March 26, 2013 by Darryl and Becky Jordan

Rejoice greatly, O daughter Zion!

Shout aloud, O daughter Jerusalem!
Lo, your king comes to you;
triumphant and victorious is he,
humble and riding on a donkey….
Zachariah 9:9

Holy Week is a big holiday here. It starts with Palm Sunday. Many people make palms and sell them at the cathedral on Palm Sunday. The priest blesses the palms and then they take them home and hang them above their door for protection. Pray that these very religious people might to know the Savior.
