Cast the Net…

“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind: which, when it was filled, they drew up on the beach; and they sat down, and gathered the good into vessels, but the bad they cast away.” Matthew 13:47‭-‬48 ASV

Tinoy uses a shuttle to tie the netting to the cord.

Romero, also known as  Tinoy in the village, makes his livelihood by catching and selling fish.  Last week, he needed to make new fishing nets.

As we were walking through the village, we saw that he was making new nets.He was making four nets one meter wide by 100 meters long.    He was putting floats on one side and weights on the other.  He connected the four nets together to catch fish.

Jesus has called us to be fishers of men.  Please pray for us as we seek to be friends with Tinoy and his family so that they can come to Jesus and “Cast” all their care on Him knowing that He cares for them
