Rain or Shine, Day or Night

No matter the time of day or the weather condition, work continues on the new church building.  This past week, workers have started to install window jams, plastering the walls with cement, preparing the floor by spreading rock around, and digging a huge hole for a septic tank.  The latter was no small feat as we had some rain after they began digging, which caused a small cave in and water in the hole.  However, after this, the weather has been nice, the hole is finished and the cement floor of the new septic tank has been poured.  Praise the Lord!  Please pray for good weather this week, so the men can finish the construction of the septic tank.

The electrical work is being done by a man who has a day job.  So, often he will come by our house around 6pm to pick up electric supplies.  He will often work until 11pm installing the pipes for the electrical wire.

Thank you for your continued prayers for safety and progress on this new building.  Not sure if a realistic goal or not, but we are hoping to be worshiping the Lord in this new building by Christmas.
