Focus Groups Tomorrow

June 25, 2008 by Dave and Ruth Brendle

“A focus group is a form of research in which a group of people is asked about their attitude towards a product, service, concept, advertisement, idea, or packaging. Questions are asked in an interactive group setting where participants are free to talk with other group members.”

On June 26th, three focus groups will be evaluating several lessons from the revision of Firm Foundations: Creation to Christ. They will also be evaluating the corresponding notebook lessons.

Ruth and several coworkers will be there to observe.  We will be behind a two-way mirror, and able to see and hear the guided discussion about the materials.

  • Pray that the feedback we get will be helpful.
  • Pray for Ruth to have a receptive attitude, considering all the work that she has already put in on the material being evaluated.
  • Pray as the revision team makes decisions about potential changes based on the focus group’s evaluation.
